The Team
The team is made up of twelve main members, four of whom are involved in engineering, five in media and three who are involved in both engineering and media. However, in addition to this core team there are many other people in the school who are involved in robotics. Whether it be by playing or singing in the soundtrack, appearing in the movie, giving their opinions or just helping out, almost everybody in the school gets involved in robotics.
Minions in-training
There are three girls in grade six who shadow the older girls, observe and help with some of the tasks such as making costumes or filming. These girls are our "minions in training", the future robotics leaders.
"Being one of the youngsters in this robotics process is very fun. You learn a lot about robots and about different media, which is helpful if one day you end up being interested and decide to be a head, whether it be of engineering or movie. It is also fun to get to know the older girls; they are really nice. Some of the meetings might be long, but I realize that it really pays off in the end. You have helped which means that you feel that you have contributed to the team."

Our Mentors
Behind every successful ECS geekish girl and female engineering superhero lurks a quiet, unflagging band of mentors, who have "been there" and "done that” .... or who have never 'done that' but who are willing to let us try it anyway and know the pitfalls and priceless experiences involved in this robotics enterprise: Operation Vexoic . We cannot express our thanks enough to those teachers in white capes, who have stood behind us and cheer us on. To Mr. Cox (instrumental) and Mrs. Ewanyshyn (vocal), to Mr. H (our engineering mentor), to Ms. Ricci (science teacher), to M Turbide (and the entire French Department, who keep us "sur les orteilles") , to Ms. Aslin, Ms. Scheuerman, Mr. Scott and to our tireless parents -- you are the true super powers in our lives - and we thank you for your time spent on us and your belief in us daily. A special thank you to Ms. Riddell, fashion designer and an ECS Old Girl, who has brought her super powers back to our ECS halls to help us design our superhero garb.
