Each superhero on the team has their respective spot on the wall to hang up their cape. The purpose of this is to keep track of who’s working inside HeroECS headquarters and who’s out fighting the evils of the competition. We want to encourage as many people as possible to stop by to read our journal, view our website and watch our movie. However, to avoid our kiosk getting over crowded, we built two angled panels near the front of the kiosk. These panels are actually the doors to headquarters that have been opened. This way, people can visit our parts of our kiosk without necessarily stepping inside official HeroECS headquarters.
Each member has her own specific superhero force and strength. Some bring their superpowers to robot design and others to movie editing. However, every superhero has something to offer kiosk. The building of our kiosk brings together our engineering and our media team in the last few weeks before the competition. The engineers help build and design our structure. The media members help paint and decorate the kiosk.
While building our kiosk, we came to realize what our theme was really about. Superheroes are a reflection of the strengths each individual has. Each superhero has their own superpower. When these superpowers combine, we are able to soar over the competition. |
