About HeroECS

HeroECS is the name of the 2009 ECS robotics team. We are a small, but very committed group of girls who spend the months of October through February preparing for the CRC robotics competition. This competition consists of five parts: building a robot that can play a game with other robots and take part in skills competitions as well as creating a website, kiosk, journal and movie. This is no easy feat! Many hours of work go into each aspect of the competition and many of us have more than one role. Through this website, we hope to share with you what went on “behind-the-scenes” at ECS this year as we took on the challenge of Vexoic 2009.
